What does this site promise to do?

This site is an independent editorial resource that publishes reviews and commentary about the broker Tickmill for readers in Uganda. We are not the broker, we are not affiliated with the broker, and we do not provide financial services, accounts, deposits or advice. Our only obligation is to write and maintain editorial content as accurately as we reasonably can, to correct clear errors when we find them, and to keep the site available for readers.

The site is not regulated, licensed, or endorsed by any authority, and nothing on it should be read as a claim of that kind. We do not open accounts, accept money, or place trades. If you choose to deal with any broker, you do so directly with that firm and under its own terms.

We may change, remove, or add content at any time as part of normal editorial work. The terms below govern your use of the site and are separate from any agreement you may have with a broker.

Can these terms change, and when?

Yes. We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the site, in the law, or in how we work. When we do, we will post the revised terms on this page and change the date shown at the top. The version in force is the one published here at the time you use the site.

If a change is material, we will make that clear on the page, for example by noting what has changed. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, you should stop using the site.

We do not keep older versions on public display, but you may ask about them through the contact form on this site, and we will keep the current version available at all times.

What about links to other sites and third parties?

The site contains outbound links to third-party websites, including the broker's own site. Those links are provided for convenience and reference only. We do not control those sites, we do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content, their terms, their privacy practices, or anything that happens when you use them.

When you follow an outbound link, you leave this site and enter a relationship with another party on that party's terms. Any account, deposit, trade, or service you take up is between you and that party alone. We do not receive instructions, hold funds, or act as an intermediary.

Some outbound links may be commercial in nature. Even where that is the case, it does not change our editorial approach, and it does not make us a party to any agreement you reach with a third party. You should read the terms and risk disclosures on any site you visit before acting.

How may the editorial material be used?

All editorial text, design, and original graphics on this site belong to the site or are used with permission. You may read the site, quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back to the page, and share links for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy substantial parts of the site, republish articles in full, scrape or harvest content in bulk, or use the material to train or populate another product without written permission. You may not alter the text and present it as your own, remove attribution, or use our content in a way that suggests we endorse you, your product, or your service.

Requests to reuse material should be made through the contact form on this site. We may grant permission on conditions, and we may refuse. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of the content to you.

Is anything here personalised advice?

No. Nothing on this site is personalised financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation that you open an account, deposit funds, or trade with any firm. The content is general editorial commentary written for a broad readership in Uganda.

We do not know your circumstances, your goals, your experience, or your tolerance for risk, and we do not assess whether any product is suitable for you. Trading and similar products carry a risk of loss, and you should not rely on this site as the basis for a decision. Seek independent professional advice where appropriate.

Trademarks, brand names, and logos mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners. Their use is for identification and editorial comment only and does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

Who may use the site, and what if a clause fails?

The site is intended for readers who are at least 18 years old and who access it from a place where doing so is lawful. You are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you, including any local rules on financial promotions or on accessing foreign websites. We make no representation that the site is appropriate or available in every location.

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use it in a way that harms others. We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

If any clause of these terms is found to be unenforceable, it will be trimmed to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable, or removed if that is not possible, and the remaining clauses will continue in full force. The failure to enforce a clause on one occasion is not a waiver of it. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and questions about them may be sent through the contact form on this site.
